During the Channel 5 program “The Record Show” hosted by Gerry Scotti. The Turin native: “What a struggle but we did it!”Forty-nine rotations in 30 seconds clinging to a wheel resting on the floor: this is how Turin native Andrea Cerrato enters Guinness world record history. The record came on Sunday, April 2, during the Channel 5 program “The Record Show” hosted by Gerry Scotti. “What an effort but we did it!”: is the comment via social media of Cerrato who actually beat himself. In 2018 he had in fact reached 48 rotations, again with the Cyr wheel.
“It is a very strenuous piece of equipment,” comments the artist, “a discipline that allows me to perform in the circus ring, on the theatrical stage, on the streets of the world, and if necessary, even in television studios, as in this case. Even though that record was already mine to beat, it was really difficult and exhausting. I came to the limit of my ability and I almost didn’t make it, by the skin of my teeth, but I made it. I will work to try to get through it again, but in the meantime I am devoting myself to the theater projects we are working on with my partner Micol and which I hope to bring to Turin soon.”
